I just joined The Editor’s blog and am in the middle of my second revision of my novel. I have a scene where the main character, a biologist is presenting his research to an audience. I want the reading audience to experience what is is like to be in the viewing audience so I’d like to present contents of a few slides within the story narrative. For instance, the hypothetical slide would have 3 bullets and I’d like to show those bullets in the narrative. My question is what is the best way to present that in the manuscript? Bullets aligned to the left, indented? Please let me know any of your suggestions.
