last modified April 28, 2016

I realized I hadn’t posted any reviews here at the blog for The Magic of Fiction, so here are snippets from a few reviews. Links to the full reviews are provided.

Beth Hill has taken the mystery of editing and writing and broken it down into digestible pieces.

I am telling you, this is good stuff.

I read straight through the book and actually enjoyed it. Beth Hill has an engaging style of writing and sharing her knowledge. This is a book every writer and editor should have at their fingertips.

I rate this 5 out of 5 stars! So informative and well written!—Word Refiner.

Simply put, if you are a new writer, an unpublished author, or an author with several books under your belt, you need this book. In a clear and comprehensive way, Beth has managed to simplify the process of fiction writing and self-editing as much as it CAN be simplified.—Newt Johnson (Amazon review)

***

This book is amazing. It’s clear and easy to read. There are so many examples. I already have post-its marking pages I refer to a lot.

I can’t recommend this book highly enough.—D (Amazon review)

  1. I love the book, and have recommended it to several writers. I only get 15 minutes, or so, a day to read it, but it inpires me each time I do. The rest off my work time is spent writing and editing! As it should be.

    Thanks, Beth.
